Connecting Stakeholders to Boost
Sustainable Development

On 29 May, AI4Debunk partner Pascaline Gaborit from Pilot4DEV participated in the 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗔𝗜 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 in Tulette, France, joining around 50 participants in a dynamic discussion on the opportunities and challenges created by rapid technological change.

The event highlighted strong public interest in how AI impacts everyday life, particularly in areas such as fact-checking, deepfakes, social media algorithms, cybersecurity, and digital resilience. Participants shared experiences and explored practical ways to navigate today’s complex information environment.

💡 One key takeaway was the growing demand for accessible tools and media literacy resources that can help citizens critically assess online information with greater confidence.

This growing awareness reinforces the relevance of the AI4DEBUNK project and its mission to support citizens in identifying and countering disinformation!
