On 29 May, AI4Debunk partner Pascaline Gaborit from Pilot4DEV participated in the 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗔𝗜 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 in Tulette, France, joining around 50 participants in a dynamic discussion on the opportunities and challenges created by rapid technological change.
The event highlighted strong public interest in how AI impacts everyday life, particularly in areas such as fact-checking, deepfakes, social media algorithms, cybersecurity, and digital resilience. Participants shared experiences and explored practical ways to navigate today’s complex information environment.
💡 One key takeaway was the growing demand for accessible tools and media literacy resources that can help citizens critically assess online information with greater confidence.
