Nandita Pillai - Intern
With a background in Cognitive Neuropsychology, my work connects research, communication, and design to make scientific insights accessible and relevant beyond academia. Driven by questions about how people think, communicate, and build meaning in a world shaped by technology, I focus on the cognitive mechanisms underlying how we engage with information systems, including trust, attention, and decision making.
At Pilot4Dev, I work on projects that link these questions to broader issues of democracy and sustainability. Most recently, through AI4Debunk, I've been exploring how we can build resilience to online disinformation by combining research, education, and policy dialogue.
My aim is to bridge knowledge across disciplines, guided by a commitment to translating research into practical solutions that strengthen social resilience and empower informed decision making.
