Prof Youssef Diab is Director of Research at the EIVP School of Paris Urban Engeneering and Professor at the University Gustave Eiffel. He is a recognized expert on cities’ resilience, governance and climate adaptation. He obtained his PhD in Civil and Environmental  Engineering in 1992 and his Habilitation Diploma for Research in 2000 in the field of Urban Engineering and Environment. He is Professor of Urban Engineering at UPEM and also scientific director of the EIVP where he is in charge of the R/D strategy and management. During the last 10 years he managed a research program of an amount  of 1 Million Euro / year in the field of sustainable and resilient  urban planning and design. He already supervised 38 PhD theses and has more than 100 papers in international conferences and referred journals. His research work is related to the field of sustainable and resilient cities and sustainable urban policy by developing making decision tools...
